What are the Embedded AI Apps?
There are three Apps that are Pre-installed on the Xerox® AltaLink® 8200 Multifunction Printers (MFPs). These are the Xerox®
Auto-Redaction App, Xerox® Summarizer App, and Xerox® Note Converter App.
How Are the Embedded AI Apps Different from the Apps in the Xerox App Gallery?
Embedded AI Apps are fully functional, limited-use apps that are also available for purchase in the Xerox App Gallery.
What Is the Purpose of Including the Embedded AI Apps on AltaLink 8200 MFP Series When the Same Ones Are Available Through the Xerox App Gallery?
The three Embedded AI Apps (listed right) are pre-loaded on all AltaLink® 8200 Series MFPs for convenience, with the purpose of encouraging users to explore these Apps with the included free credit allowance.
These apps use AI technology to drive
productivity by automating certain manual, time-intensive, and error-prone business processes. Many users may be unaware of these Apps until they visit the Xerox App Gallery, or find them through their sales
representative or the Xerox website.
Are the Embedded AI Apps Included with Any Other Xerox Offerings?
The AltaLink 8200 MFPs come pre-loaded with three AI-Assisted apps: Xerox® Summarizer App, Xerox® Note Converter App, and
Xerox® Auto-Redaction App. Currently, these Apps are not pre-installed on any other Xerox® Products. (These Apps can be downloaded from the Xerox App Gallery on any Xerox® ConnectKey® Technology-enabled Printer and MFP).
